How to trip from Hanoi to Sapa and Sapa to Hanoi.
Hanoi to Sapa by train:

However, the 40-km road from Lao Cai to Sapa is rather winding and has many steep passes and busy vehicles, so you need to drive carefully.
Hanoi to Sapa, Sapa to Hanoi by sleep bus:
Currently, this is the most popular option for visitors since the completion of the Hanoi – Lao Cai highway. This is the most convenient vehicle, you can sleep when travelling to Sapa in 4-5 hours. There are many sleep buses from Hanoi to Sapa and Sapa to Hanoi, one-way ticket ranges from USD10-15 per person.

Bus From Sapa to Hanoi are everywhere in the Sapa town, so it’s easy to catch a bus to Hanoi. Some bus will pick you up at your hotel.
Hanoi to Sapa by motorcycle, car:
You can travel to Sapa by motorcycle or a private car in case you go in group. If you want to rent a car, it costs USD200 to rent a 7-seat car with driver in 2 days. The car will take you to Sapa and back to Hanoi, if you want to travel to tourist attractions during the trip, it is recommended to negotiate the price in advance.
Riding a motorbike to Sapa is not too difficult; you just need a paper map or Google map. The route to Sapa is very beautiful.
